Abhi Sandal grew up in Lawrence and Douglas County, and has been away at art school in California. Currently he is summering with his parents in rural Baldwin. He seems to enjoy doing artwork outdoors, but Nancy Boyda hung one of his indoor works in the hallways of Congress.
